THE DEFINITION OF ALCOHOL-BASED HAND SANITIZER THAT IS PROHOBIT FOR DISTRIBUTION AND IMPORTATION 2020

By virtue of Article 5 Paragraph One and Article 6 (1) of the Cosmetic Law 2015, the Minister of Public Health, with the recommendations of the Medical Device Committee, announced as follows:

1. All hand cleaning products having alcohol based as hygiene component must follows these standards in which must consist of ethyl alcohol/ethanol, isopropyl alcohol/ isopropanol, or n-propyl alcohol /n-propanol combined from or more than 70 % by volume.

2. This announcement shall come into force

immediately from the date of its publication in Government Gazette onwards.
