MDA has announced a new search database, Medical Device Authority Register (MDAR), with a URL address, https://mdar.mda.gov.my. At this moment, the new search database system only contains registered establishment licenses and medical devices. For lists of Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) and Change Notification is in the construction phases and will be added future. MDA’s other medical device databases, Malaysia Medical Device Registry (MMDR), is still in use. Hence, users are able to access both databases to ensure a medical device or an establishment that is dealing with medical devices, is registered under Act 737.
