In order to administer generic names of medical devices, and to strengthen the management of the lifecycle of medical devices, NMPA has formulated the <Guidance on Nomenclature of Generic Names of active surgical instruments>, < Guidance on Nomenclature of Generic Names of Physical Therapy Devices>, <Guidance on Nomenclature of Generic Names of Patient Carrying Devices>, <Guidance on Nomenclature of Generic Names of Ophthalmic Devices>, <Guidance on Nomenclature of Generic Names of Infusion, Recovery and Protective Devices>, and <Guidance on Nomenclature of Generic Names of Clinical Investigational Devices>, which are hereby issued.
