WITHDRAWAL OF THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CLEANING PRODUCTS CONTAINING ALCOHOL AS A COMPONENT FOR HYGIENIC USE 2019
Due to the Coronavirus Outbreak (COVID-19), in accordance to Ministry of Public Health Announcement regarding Cleaning Products Containing Alcohol as a Component for Hygienic Use 2019, which alcohol gel is classified as Notified Medical Device may result in a shortage of such product at the very moment. Therefore, Cleaning Products Containing Alcohol as a Component for Hygienic Use with combination of 70% by volume (volume by volume) shall be registered accordingly to the laws of cosmetics registration to suit the current urgent situation in need of large quantity of qualified alcohol gel.
By virtue of section 5 paragraph one of the Medical Device Act B.E. 2551The Minister of Public Health, with the recommendations of the Medical Device Committee, announced as follows:
1. Withdrawal of the Ministry of Public Health Announcement regarding Cleaning Products Containing Alcohol as a Component for Hygienic Use 2019.
2. This announcement shall come into force immediately from the date of its publication in Government Gazette onwards.
